Students we are going to Winter Jam 2025! This is a $15 CASH general admission concert, with several christian artists. We will leave at 4:30pm from the Church and head to T-Mobile Center! Parents are welcome to join. Leaders and Parents if you are able and willing to drive students, that would help us carpool students there! We will be standing in line so dress warm. When we get inside there is food, drinks, and merch if you would like to purchase stuff on your own! 

Please register by Jan. 15th so we can make sure to have you a ride.

Students 6-12th grade, join us for the Student City Christmas Party on December 18th from 6-9 PM. Enjoy a festive evening featuring a Christmas disco-themed murder mystery, a white elephant gift exchange (please bring gifts valued at $10-$15), delicious appetizers and desserts, student testimonies, and a Christmas cookie contest. Don’t miss out on the fun and festivities! 

If you enter the cookie contest, make sure to bring 2 dozen cookies!

Join us for an enlightening and engaging panel discussion and lunch where several experienced and dedicated parents will come together to share their experiences and insights on parenting in today's complex world. This faith-based discussion will tackle topics such as family discipleship, family relationships, sex, technology, discipline, and more offering you practical advice and heartfelt wisdom. 

Our panelists of parents will provide diverse perspectives and real-life examples on how they incorporate faith into everyday parenting and how they navigate the challenges of raising children in a fast-paced, technology-driven society. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with other parents and gain practical tools to strengthen and encourage you in your parenting journey. 

You can submit questions on the following topics with your registration or email them to kendall.appleton@newcitychurch.com. We will do our best to answer all questions submitted as time allows. 

Segments will include: 

1. Faith & Family Discipleship

2. Talking to my kids about sex and other sensitive subjects

3. Technology use and limits

4. Family Life (Relationship building, family rules, discipline, chores, etc.)

5. Misc. (Anything that doesn't fit in one of the above topics)

Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM and the panel discussion will begin at 1 PM. 

Edgerton students grades 6-12 come join us at Manor Park for some fun, fellowship, and food. We will enjoy snacks, play games, and giveaways. If you want to know more about our Student City, how to deepen your faith, or need prayer we'd love for you to come hang with us.

Students let's kick off MIDWEEK with some slip n' slide kickball! We will have hot dogs, chips, and drinks before and then have some fun playing water kickball! This is a great time for any new or interested students that are looking to get involved! We will have time to not only hang out but you'll be able to meet your small group leaders for the year! Feel free to invite a friend and we will see you on the grass.

Join us as we come together to share the incredible experiences and spiritual growth from our recent camp trip. From heartfelt worship sessions to unforgettable bonding moments, we'll relive the highlights and blessings of our time spent in fellowship with one another. In addition, we will get pumped for the week ahead as our middle schoolers head out! But the evening isn't just about reflection - it's also a celebration of friendship and unity. So mark your calendars and invite your friends to join us for an uplifting night of gratitude, inspiration, and joy. It's time to cool off and celebrate the end of another school year with a pool party! We will be celebrating our seniors that just graduated from high school and welcoming new students who just finished 5th grade. Please join us at the Baldwin City Pool from 8:00 - 10:00 PM for some serious fun, snacks, and drinks.

Escape to the ultimate summer paradise with an evening of sun, water, and endless fun! We're bringing the beach vibes to KCK for an unforgettable night under the stars.

Join us for beach games, bonfires, slip and slides and more. Wear your swim suit and your favorite Hawaiian shirt. Bring a towel because we have water games too!

Come on out to the Edgerton Frontier Day's parade on Nelson St. and support our Student City as they enter their float for the 4th year in a row. The theme for the float this year is "Jesus Rocks". You won't want to miss the rock music and rockstars as they toss candy out to the crowds. You might even see some rockstar horses! After the parade make your way up to Martin Creek Park and visit the Student City booth as they hand out backpacks, totes, bracelets, and bibles.

Join us for the Ultimate Breakfast Extravaganza at our Mega Breakfast and Pancake Night! 

Get ready to indulge in a feast fit for champions as we serve up a mouthwatering array of breakfast delights. From fluffy stacks of pancakes dripping with syrup to sizzling bacon and fresh fruit, we've got all your favorites covered! 

So mark your calendars and bring your appetite to our Mega Breakfast and Pancake Night - it's guaranteed to be a flipping good time! 

Join us as we celebrate our Seniors in Student City, May 26th at our 11 AM service! We are going to take time to encourage our seniors and send them out! Graduates families that plan to attend, please register so we can have enough food and make sure we are prepared for your graduate!

Come experience an exciting time with our Edgerton students at our Student Sunday as they lead worship, prayer and delivering the message. Our students will be greeting guests, serving coffee/cookies and operating the sound booth as well. There will be special recognition moments for high school graduates and our young children. Make sure not to miss out on this incredible event.

Spring is here and we would love to have all students join us for a student game night at the Edgerton Community Hall. This event is hosted by Student City of New City Church and is open to anyone grades 5-12. Pizza, drinks, and snacks will be provided. There will be a wide variety of games to choose from including tabletop games, card games, board games, and video games. You are welcome to bring your own games as well. This is a come and go event from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.

If you have a child in 3rd - 12th grade that is currently or wants to be a part of our Jr. Helpers initiative - Please join us for this lunch! We will be discussing roles, responsibilities, and how to be good leaders. We have been working to better streamline this program and to turn it into a leadership building opportunity that can serve the kids involved both within the church and in their everyday lives.

At this lunch - we will talk about each of the roles available and what their expectations are in them. We will learn about leadership and ministry. And we will talk about the Jr. helpers classes that will be happening on 5th Sundays.

Join us at our annual Student City Christmas party! You won't want to miss as we celebrate Jesus, participate in a white elephant gift exchange and Christmas games, and of course enjoy food and homemade desserts! Bring a $10 gift for the white elephant exchange and register by December 17th so we can prepare enough food. Invite a friend and we will see you there!

Student this is a call for YOU to go pray at your school flag pole before school on September 27th! We would love to see Student City show up at each of your schools! Student it starts with you, will you show up and pray before school? We are excited to partner with each of you who decide to wake up early and go pray before school! If you are willing to step out and do this on Wednesday, September 27th, please register and we will help answer any questions you have and/or show you what prayer can look like that morning!

Students 6th-12th, we will be going to Winter Jam 2023!

Winter Jam is a big concert with many different artists. The concert begins at 7:00pm, but since it is General Admission, we will leave the church by 4:00pm to get in line for better seats! Be prepared to sit/stand in line for about an hour/hour and half.

Students will be responsible to pay for their ticket at the gate ($15), food, and any merchandise they want.

Parents, you are more than welcome to join! If you do go, please consider driving so we can make sure everyone has a ride.

Registration for this event closes on February 24th, so register today! It's sure to be a fun time!
