New City has reserved the theatre to watch the Best Christmas Pageant Ever together! This is a great story that will go right along with our series starting in December called "Messy Christmas." Chili Tasting: Taste a variety of homemade chili recipes prepared with love and creativity by church members.

Judging: Vote for your favorite chili in categories such as Best Traditional Chili, Most Creative Recipe, and Spiciest Chili.

The Argentine Betterment's Trunk-or-Treat event powered by New City Church KCK promises an evening of family-friendly Halloween fun! Join us for a safe and festive gathering where kids can trick-or-treat from car to car, each creatively decorated by community members and local businesses. Expect spooky and imaginative displays, candy galore, and plenty of Halloween spirit. Register to volunteer at this event.

We are excited to take Prayer and Praise to the Park for our last one of 2024! Join us at Erfurt Park in Shawnee as we go out into the Community for a time of fun, prayer and worship. We will have drinks and games to hang out in the park at 5:00 PM before the service begins at 6:30 PM. Come, bring family, friends, and neighbors to come relax and spend time in the presence of God. Please bring your lawn chairs.

Join us for an enlightening and engaging panel discussion and lunch where several experienced and dedicated parents will come together to share their experiences and insights on parenting in today's complex world. This faith-based discussion will tackle topics such as family discipleship, family relationships, sex, technology, discipline, and more offering you practical advice and heartfelt wisdom. 

Our panelists of parents will provide diverse perspectives and real-life examples on how they incorporate faith into everyday parenting and how they navigate the challenges of raising children in a fast-paced, technology-driven society. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with other parents and gain practical tools to strengthen and encourage you in your parenting journey.

1. Faith & Family Discipleship

2. Talking to my kids about sex and other sensitive subjects

3. Technology use and limits

4. Family Life (Relationship building, family rules, discipline, chores, etc.)

5. Misc. (Anything that doesn't fit in one of the above topics)

Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM and the panel discussion will begin at 1 PM.

IF Gathering 2024 revolves around the compelling theme "because of Jesus." This event is a vibrant gathering where women come together to explore and deepen their understanding of how Jesus transforms lives and shapes their identities, relationships, and missions. IF Gathering creates a supportive environment where women can celebrate the transformative power of Jesus and discover how to live purposefully and courageously "because of Jesus." It's a time of worship, learning, and fellowship, empowering women to embody and share the love and truth of Christ in their communities and beyond.
