Melanie Kreifels, MA, LPC
Melanie has a BS from the University of Central Missouri and received her MA in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Melanie went on to earn a post-graduate certification in Play Therapy also from MNU. Melanie has spent a majority of her career in missions work both overseas in Glasgow, Scotland as well working with the poor at the City Union Mission in Kansas City, MO. Melanie is excited to be joining New City Church as a counselor where she will be working with children, individuals and families. Her experience includes grief, anxiety, depression, parenting and divorce recovery.

Dr. F. Michael Grubbs
Dr. Grubbs is an Assistant Professor Specialist in Counseling. Michael is the Christian Counselor and Coach at The Lyndon Center in Kansas City. With over 40 years in pastoral and counseling ministry, he has encouraged many in their walk towards freedom and the abundant life Jesus Christ offers. He possesses a Master of Science in Christian Counseling from Cairn University and holds a Doctor of Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, MO.
